Jul 16, '13
The action started with Mike Hack who limped in early position and Ben Palmer raised to 8,300 from middle position. The action was folded to the big blind, Terry Fleischer, who made the call. Hack also decided that his hand was worth a flop.
The flop brought AQ7 and both players checkced to Palmer who bet 17,600. Fleischer decided to check-raise all in for 60,000 and Hack folded right away.
Palmer called immediately.
Fleischer showed 89 and he was in real bad shape against Palmer’s pair and dominant flush draw with QJ. The turn brought the 2 and the river the eliminating Fleischer in 38th place. Palmer is now up to around 150,000.

Mike Hack Wins Biggest Pot of the Tournament

Patrick Uzan raised to 4,800 from the hijack, Terry Fleischer reraised to 15,000 from the cutoff and after a few moments of thought, Bernard Guigon called all in from the small blind for his last 8,600.
The action passed to Mike Hack, who deliberated for about 30 seconds before calling the 15,000 raise from the big blind. Uzan folded and a side pot was formed, with heads up action between Hack and Fleischer.
The flop came down 7 7 4 and Fleischer led at the pot for 50,000. Hack raised to 115,000 and Fleischer went into the tank. He asked Hack how much he had behind and the dealer informed him that including the raise and the remainder of his stack, it would be about 200,000.
Seeing he had Hack covered, Fleischer moved all in and Hack called for a total of 199,900. Fleischer turned over A K for a flush draw and Hack showed 8 7 for flopped trips. Guigon, an after thought by this point, revealed J J.
The turn and river fell Q K and Hack more than tripled up to 443,000 in chips. Fleischer was left with about 60,000 and it took more than a minute for a stunned Guigon to get up from the table.
