(Update 2:00 p.m. PST) — The $100,000 Super High Roller event at the Bellagio wrapped up on Friday afternoon, as Erik Seidel captured another big buy-in title this year with the elimination Erick Lindgren in second place.

On the final hand Seidel limped from the small blind, and Erick Lindgren checked his option in the big blind. The flop fell AClub Suit 4Club Suit 2Club Suit, and Lindgren checked. Seidel bet 125,000, and Lindgren shoved for about a million. Seidel called with AHeart Suit 5Heart Suit for a pair of aces, and was ahead of the flush and straight draw of his opponent with the JClub Suit 3Heart Suit. The turn and river bricked for Lindgren, and Seidel scooped the pot for the win.

Seidel earned $1,092,000 for the victory, while Lindgren took home $700,500 for his runner-up finish. The win was Seidel’s fourth of the year, and ninth final table. In 2011 alone he has won $5.4 million. His career tournament earnings stand at nearly $16 million.

Here is a look at the final in-the-money results:

1. Erik Seidel — $1,092,780
2. Erick Lindgren — $700,500
3. Daniel Negreanu — $448,320
4. Vivek Rajkumar — $336,240
5. Justin Bonomo — $224,160

The Super High Roller event attracted a whopping 29 players, which was almost double what was expected, creating a massive $2.9 million prize pool.
