The Partouche Poker Tour is underway at Casino Palm Beach, Cannes, France and 579 players have anted up the €7,500 + €750 buy-in to more than meet the €4 million guaranteed prize pool.
The main event saw entrants down significantly on last years event which attracted 764 players and was won by Vanessa Selbst who took down €1.3 million in a controversianl tournament which saw Ali Tekintamgac ejected from the final table for allegedly cheating.
Selbst is still in the running going into day two while recent Epic Poker League winner David “Chino” Rheem is among the chip leaders.
