World Poker Tour Malta Stars TodayUnique Re-Entry Structure For Four Day Event Gets Underway in Malta |

The World Poker Tour pulls up in Malta today for a four-day, €3,300 event with twist – players who get knocked out of the tournament today day 1A can re-register and play tomorrow on day 1B.
This a structure pioneered on this scale by the GUKPT Goliath last month in the UK.
WPT ambassador Mike Sexton said, “The re-entry format is great for pros that have to travel long distances. They could be out in one hour. This gives them two chances to enter the tournament, instead of just one. It makes for a much larger prize pool, something all players like.”
The event is expected to attract up to 300 runners including Phil Hellmuth, Tony G, John Eames, Roberto Romanello, and Jake Cody.
Players start with 30,000 in chips and 60 minute blinds.
