Dan Kelly is young but nonetheless a poker veteran, winning nearly $2.5 million on the live tournament circuit and more than $3 million online over the years. However, after outlasting more than 6,300 players this weekend and into Tuesday at the World Series of Poker, Kelly is feeling the pressure.

As of around 1:30 p.m. local time in Las Vegas, Kelly and eight other competitors descended on the official final table in the $1,500 “Millionaire Maker” at the 2013 WSOP. The event will award one player with $1,198,780.

Kelly, a four-time final-table finisher at the WSOP, said that he’s used to such deep runs, but that this one has still provided the usual anxiety.

“It’s still a little nerve racking,” Kelly admitted. “You’re not going to get this chance again.”

The tournament broke a WSOP record for most players in a side event.

Tuesday’s final table is Kelly’s second of the summer, and he has only played two tournaments.

“It’s just ridiculous,” Kelly said of his performance so far.
