World Series of Poker -- Event No. 10 Limit Hold'em Winner Brent WheelerBrent Wheeler Wins First Bracelet And $191,605 |

Event no. 10 attracted 645 entrants creating a total prize pool of $870,750. Brent Wheeler, a 27-year-old professional poker player from Las Vegas, won the first-place prize banking $191,605 and receiving his first gold bracelet.
Last summer Wheeler finished fourth and seventh in a World Series of Poker limit and mixed-hold’em event, so this marks Wheeler’s first WSOP tournament victory at his third final table. He topped the only bracelet champion to make the final table, Eric Froehlich, who finished ninth.
However, it was not Froehlich who Wheeler was most concerned about. Mark Mierkalns was runner up and was Wheeler’s biggest competition during the final table.
“Once we got heads-up, Mierkalns was the player I would have picked not to play heads-up against,” he said. “When we got heads-up I knew it was going to be a long battle…he had a good feel for what I was doing, and I knew what he was doing.”
Here’s a look at the final table results.
