Swimming legend Michael Phelps now has 28 total medals at the Olympic Games, and he’s off to retirement with his family, and of course his poker-playing friends.

Phelps has long been a card game aficionado, and shortly before one of his recent races in Rio de Janeiro, Phelps was actually on his phone playing pineapple, a card game that has become popular within the poker community, especially among high rollers. It’s a variant of Open Face Chinese poker.

The Maryland native finished second in the 200-meter butterfly semi-final, eventually going on to win the gold medal in the event, which was his 20th lifetime.

The video famously included rival swimmer Chad le Clos shadow boxing in front of Phelps before the semi-final race. Phelps told NBC about how he mentally prepares moments before jumping into the pool on the world’s biggest athletic stage.

Phelps, who has competed at the World Series of Poker and the PCA, could take his poker game to a new level now that he’s officially retired from the sport that made him a household name.

“Done, done, done—and this time I mean it. I wanted to come back and finish my career how I wanted and this was the cherry on top of the cake,” Phelps told NBC’s Matt Lauer. “I’m done. I’m finished. I’m retired. I’m done. No more.”
