The Card Player Poker Tour is currently in the middle of a successful inaugural series at Live! Casino and Hotel in Maryland, one of the largest cardrooms in the country. In fact, the opening event was such as hit, the $100,000 guarantee was crushed to the tune of $166,470.
While there are still a few tournaments left on the schedule, the highlight of the series is undoubtedly the $200,000 guaranteed main event. This $1,100 buy-in tournament features two starting flights, kicking off Friday and Saturday at 12:15 p.m. local time. The tournament wraps up with the final day on Jan. 14, where one player will take home a huge payday and the CPPT trophy.
