With just a couple weeks remaining at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, players can now begin planning for WSOP Circuit events around the world. The series released the official WSOP Circuit schedule on Monday.

Plans call for 18 domestic and international stops through the end of this year. This marks the regional tour’s 20th season and the championship ring action kicks off July 19 at Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma. The international tour begins in Tallinn, Estonia, running July 19-28.

“Quietly, the WSOP Circuit is far and away the biggest poker tour in the world,” WSOP Senior Vice President and Executive Director Ty Stewart said. “It’s time to shout about the great events that bring the excitement and prestige of the WSOP to our regional properties. This slate of domestic and international events rounds out 2024 in a momentous way, and we look forward to building on this list of dates and venues for 2025 soon.”

Details On The Schedule

Along with a deep schedule of events, the $1 million freeroll “Tournament of Champions” also returns, featuring a similar format as in 2023-24. Beginning with the Choctaw, gold ring winners from live or online circuit events through May 2025 will qualify for the invitation-only tournament. The location for the TOC will be announced at a later date.

Harrah’s Cherokee is the second stop on the WSOPC, beginning Aug. 1. The tour’s first half continues virtually nonstop until returning to Harrah’s Cherokee on Thanksgiving, Nov. 28. While many familiar venues return, one new stop was also announced. The Commerce Casino in Los Angeles will host a series Nov. 14-25. The property hosted the Tournament of Champions last May.

Much of the WSOPC action is geared toward weekend play. Most Circuit stops begin on Thursdays, with four-day main events beginning on the second Friday of each series. Most stops are expected to include seniors and ladies events as well with winners earning TOC seats.

Every series will offer at least a dozen championship gold ring events starting with $250 buy-in levels and include a $1,700 main event, with buy-ins varying for international locations.

Additionally, WSOP Online Circuit events will be scheduled monthly. WSOP.com recently launched a shared liquidity platform for players in Nevada, New Jersey, and Michigan. The company also operates a ringed-in platform in Pennsylvania.
