The PokerStars European Poker Tour added three new tournament stops to its season-six schedule, and one of these stops will start tomorrow. Cards are scheduled to get into the air at noon local time on Tuesday, Nov. 17 (4 a.m. PST) at the Casino Vilamoura in Portugal. The €5,000 no-limit hold’em tournament will feature two day-one flights, and the final table will take place on Sunday, Nov. 22. Other events that will take place in Portugal in association with the EPT stop include two €1,000 no-limit hold’em tournaments, a €2,000 no-limit hold’em event, a €500 no-limit hold’em shootout event, a €300 ladies no-limit hold’em event, and a €1,000 pot-limit Omaha tournament.
Players will begin with 30,000 in tournament, chips and blinds will begin at 50-100. Levels will last for 60 minutes on day 1 and increase to 75 minutes thereafter. One player who will surely be in attendance in Portugal is Joao Barbosa (pictured right). The young Portuguese professional made quite an impression on the tour during season 5, cashing seven times overall and winning his first EPT title in Warsaw.
