New Sponsor and Pro for GUKPTGUKPT Gets New Sponsor as Bolton Main Event Starts Tomorrow and Stuart Rutter Becomes Tour Pro |

The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour underwent a major shake up this week with the announcement that it would no longer be sponsored by Blue Square but by sister company Gcasino.com. Both companies are part of the Rank Group Plc which also owns Grosvenor casinos where the tour is held.
Online poker will be launched at Gcasino.com next month and both BlueSquare and the new brand will host online satellites to the popular UK tour.
Elsewhere the GUKPT named poker pro Stuart Rutter as a its ambassador for 2010. Rutter will play all main events on the tour and help promote the new Gcasino brand.
Finally the main event of the first leg of the 2010 tour gets underway tomorrow at G Casino Bolton. Last year the Bolton leg was part of the Summer Series with a £500 buy in. It was won by Kevin Parkes.
Tomorrow the buy-in for the main event is £1000. Check back at CardPlayer.com on Monday for results from this tournament.
