The Three Kings
Jul 15, '13
Masa Kagawa raised to 1,700 and John Holley decided to call. Mike Hack was seated on the button and he decided to three-bet to 6,400.
Both Kagawa and Holley made the call.
The flop brought KKK after which the action was checked to Hack.
Hack bet 6,000 and that was reason enough for Kagawa to three-bet to 19,000. Holley and Hack folded quickly and Kagawa took down this big pot without showdown.
Kagawa is up to 92,000, Hack has 95,000 and Holley still leads this table with 140,000 chips.

Masaaki Kagawa Doubles Up
Oct 01, '09
We didn’t catch the preflop action, but on a flop of Q-J-4 with two spades, Erik Cajelais bet and Masaaki Kagawa raised all in.
Cajelais instantly called, showing 75 for the flush draw. He was disgusted, however, when Kagawa showed 108 for a higher flush draw.
The turn was an offsuit 6, giving Cajelias some more outs, but the river was a blank and Kagawa doubled up to about 125,000.

Masaaki Kagawa had his tournament life on the line with K-9 in the hole when he was forced to move all in on a short stack. Erik Seidel had called him down and he held A-10. He made a pair of tens on the board to knock Kagawa out in 12th place. Seidel now holds 175,000 and one more player will need to bust until the field condenses down to one final table of 10 players.
