The final event of the 2012 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour season gets underway today Saturday January 12 at G Casino, Luton where just over 100 GUKPT main and side event winners return to play in the £100,000 Champion of Champions freeroll.
The amount of starting chips players receive in the two-day no-limit hold’em tournament depends on which event or events they won during the year:
Grand Final — 15,000 in chips
£1,000 main event — 10,000
£500 main event — 10,000
£500+ side event — 8,000
£250-£499 side event — 7,000
£100+ rebuy event — 6,000
£100-£249 side event — 5,000
Other — 5,000
