The newest poker room in the New England recently played host to its first “A Touch Of Luck” no-limit hold’em $50,000 guaranteed event. MGM Springfield easily surpassed that guaranteed amount with a $63,000 prizepool and the players enjoyed playing alongside poker pros Dennis Phillips and Chris Moneymaker.

Phillips, the owner of “A Touch Of Luck” massage therapy, provided extra prizes and a lot of fun.

There were 210 entries and once the final table was down to four players, they made a deal. Philip Dreher and Tarun Gulati received an equal payout of $12,695 each, then flipped a coin for the handsome trophy. Zachary Ginsburg finished 3rd for $10,009 and Rohan Long finished 4th for $8,197.

The popular 23-table card room managed by Adam Nash has been a busy place since opening last August. One of MGM’s newest properties is located in southern Massachusetts and you can stay where you play with full hotel accommodations. For more details click here
