Talking Stick Resort, Arizona’s premier casino, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a two-month celebration that features $10 million in cash giveaways and a poolside concert series featuring the legendary Steve Miller Band and Pitbull.
“When Talking Stick Resort opened a decade ago, we saw great potential for a new destination for hospitality and entertainment in Scottsdale, and the success of that vision is a great source of pride for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and our staff,” said Talking Stick Resort president and CEO Dennis Leong. “We are grateful for the reception we have received from our loyal guests and have many exciting events planned to celebrate with them.”
The celebration starts on April 1 with the kickoff of a $10 million cash giveaway. Every Wednesday and Thursday for the entire month, 100 lucky players will have a chance to win up to $100,000. Entries can be earned throughout the month.
The poker room will be running special promotions and tournaments all month long. It is the state’s largest poker room and home to the Arizona State Poker Championship, an annual tournament that routinely garners a prize pool of more than $1 million.
The Steve Miller Band will perform their array of hits on May 1 and Pitbull will end the anniversary celebration with a performance on May 22. Both performances will take place at the resort’s pool.
