The Charity Series of Poker will be hosting Folding for the Families at the West Palm Beach Kennel Club on Nov. 19 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The event will benefit the Folded Flag Foundation, and the presenting sponsors are the Bar Poker Open and Palm Beach Kennel Club.

The Folded Flag Foundation is a 501©(3) organization that provides educational scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of the U.S. military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.

The $150 buy-in charity poker tournament begins at 5:00 p.m. Players will begin with 10,000 in starting chips, and rebuys and add-ons are available for $50 until registration closes at 7:30 pm. The top prize in the tournament is $5,000, and there will also be many final table and silent auction prizes available, as well as a 50/50 raffle. You can see the full list of silent auction prizes up for grabs right here.

A cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres will take place before the tournament, and doors open at 3:30 p.m. for that portion of the event. Anyone is welcome to attend the cocktail hour and silent auction for $75 without participating in the tournament. Attire for all of the evening’s events is business casual. The silent auction will begin at the start of the reception before the tournament, and it will close at 9:00 pm.

Established in 2014, the Charity Series of Poker is a nonprofit company founded to organize and promote charity poker tournaments and other events that raise money and awareness for worthy charities and causes. Poker professional Matt Stout is the founder and president of the CSOP. This upcoming event in November will be the 56th stop for the series after a busy lineup of tournaments that saw four CSOP events take place in Las Vegas during the past three months.
