The Charity Series of Poker is continuing a busy early 2024 schedule with another event in Las Vegas, Nevada to host the All In Gala Series Of Poker Teams Up With UNLV Hockey For An Event On Feb. 24.
The evening will begin with an initial face-off that will see poker players and patrons treated to a lineup including a cocktail hour, dinner with the UNLV Hockey team and staff, meet and greets, limited edition merchandise, as well as free beer and wine before the tournament.
This turbo poker tournament will follow with cash prizes, including a $5,000 cash prize to the winner. The $300 buy-in charity poker tournament begins at 7:00 p.m. Re-entries and add-ons will be available for $100 until registration closes.
A re-buy will get you 10,000 in additional chips, while the add-ons will boost your stack by 20,000. There will be additional final table, bounty, and silent auctions prizes up for grabs as well.
Anyone is welcome to attend the cocktail hour and silent auction for $150 without participating in the tournament. Attire for all of the events is business casual. Another fun addition at the tournament will be free massages provided for players during play by Professional Massage, Inc.
This is not the first time that the CSOP has teamed up with hockey to raise benefits in the Las Vegas Community. The series of charity poker tournaments has teamed up with the NHL Las Vegas Golden Knights for Poker Knight events multiple times as the popularity of the sport has grown in the Vegas region since they received an expansion franchise that won the coveted Stanley Cup in record time. The most recent Poker Knight tournament was hosted in October of last year.
Established in 2014, the Charity Series of Poker is a nonprofit company founded to organize and promote charity poker tournaments and other events that raise money and awareness for worthy charities and causes. Poker professional Matt Stout is the founder and president of the CSOP. This upcoming event will be the 60th stop for the series as it continues a strong lineup of events to kick off the first two months of this year.
