Bertrand Grospellier Makes WPT Final Table Again

Frenchman Rises to Top, Shooting for Second World Poker Tour Title

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier from France has made the six-handed final table at the World Poker Tour Five Bruno FitoussiStar Poker Classic at Bellagio, Las Vegas today.

His fellow countryman Bruno Fitoussi (pictured right) exited the tournament in 10th place yesterday for $98,050 when he raised to 210,000 in middle position and Shannon Shorr reraised to 560,000 from the button.

Yevgeniy Timoshenko moved all in for about 2 million and Fitoussi called all in. Shorr folded and Fitoussi showed pocket kings. Timoshenko was behind with A-J but hit an ace on the flop and busted Fitoussi.

Seat 3: Shannon "BLUFFforRENT" Shorr — 1,130,000


Seat 4: Yevgeniy "Jovial Gent" Timoshenko — 13,300,000

Seat 6: Ran Azor — 2,525,000
