He raised to 1,000 preflop and received two callers. The flop came down J85 and the action was checked to Benyamine and he bet 500. Both opponents made the call and the 2 fell on the turn. Action was checked to Benyamine again and he threw his last 700 into the pot. Both opponents called and the K came on the river. The player in seat 3 bet and seat 1 mucked. The action was on Erick Lindgren who shoved all in for his remaining 13,000. O’Brien made the call and drew one card. Lindgren tabled 10-8-6-4-3. O’Brien took his drawn card and then tabled 8-7-5-3-2 to best Lindgren and send him to the rail on the last level of the night. Mizrachi Straightens Out Grey Michael Mizrachi raised to 2,000 before the draw and the action was then on David Grey. Grey made the call and both players drew one card. Mizrachi then led out with 4,000 and Grey mucked his hand. Mizrachi then showed Grey a straight, 8-7-6-5-4, a wicked smile on his face as he showed off his bluff. Grey had shown a face card and probably would have taken the pot down with a call. Mizrachi was at 30,000 after the hand. Richey Completes The Comeback Freddy Deeb raised to 2,000 before the draw and the action folded to Brett Richey. He reraised to 6,000. The big blind then repopped it to 20,000. Deeb mucked and Richey raised to 26,200 total, putting himself all in. The big blind made the call and drew one card. Richey stood pat and showed down J-8-7-3-2. It was just enough as the big blind tabled Q-8-6-4-2. Richey was once down to his last 1,000 in chips but rebounded all the way up to 55,000 after that double up. Former world champion Chris Ferguson also joined the tournament during this last level. Mark Seif made the largest chip gain during the level. His stack grew to 270,000 and he now shares the chip lead with Chau Giang. One of the largest hands of the level took place when Kido Pham was all in against David Baker. Pham held AK against the AQ of Baker. The board ran out 88245 and Pham doubled up to 92,000 with a flush. Baker dropped down to 84,000. Three poker-playing Davids hit the rail during the level, as Singer, Williams, and Grey all hit the rail during the level. Antonius bet 4,000 and was instantly called by his opponent. Antonius tabled the K7 while his opponent exposed the KJ. The two split the pot with kings up with a queen kicker. Daniel Negreanu Picks Off a Bluff Daniel Negreanu bet on the button and Patrik Antonius reraised from the small blind. The big blind folded and Negreanu made the quick call. The flop came K54 and Antonius bet. Negreanu called and the 6 hit the turn. Antonius checked and Negreanu bet 4,000. Antonius made the call and the river brought 7. Giang made the call. The turn was the J and Giang checked again. Negreanu hardly flinched when Giang fired 6,000 into the pot to call a bet that never came. “What are you doing?” Negreanu asked. What are you calling? Draw: Seat 4 draws 1 card, Rousso draws 1 card Seat 4 checked and Rousso did the same behind her. “King,” Rousso announced as she tabled K-J-9-7-3. Seat 4 mucked and Rousso took the pot, improving to 35,000. He’s Supposed To Win With 1,500 in the pot, it was time for David Grey and Phil Ivey to draw cards. Draw: Grey draws 1 card, Ivey stands pat “It’s okay,” Grey said as he was dealt his card. “He’s supposed to beat me.” Grey looked down at his hand and then bet 2,000. Ivey then tanked for a bit and elected to muck. Grey said a few words to Ivey and he just laughed. Grey was up to 28,000 and Ivey was down to 42,000.
