Mueller called and they revealed their cards. Mueller: AQ Board: Q10747 Johnson began with a lead but it was quickly eclipsed by a queen on the turn for Mueller. Marco was eliminated in eighth place and Mueller was over 400,000 after the hand. Mike Wattel Eliminated in Seventh Place ($26,966) Omaha Eight-or-Better Greg Mueller raised preflop under the gun and Mike Wattel called. The flop was dealt 1073 and Wattel checked. Mueller bet and Wattel check-raised all in. Mueller called and flipped over AJ42. Wattel held J532 and the turn and river followed KA. Wattel was eliminated in seventh place and Mueller scored another elimination with the scoop to keep his chip stack above 400,000. Dario Alioto Eliminated in Sixth Place ($35,634) Omaha Eight-or-Better Eric Crain raised UTG+1 and Dario Alioto called on the small blind. The flop was dealt J52 and Alioto checked to Crain, who bet. Alioto check-raised and Crain raised. Alioto raised again and Crain capped the betting with a final raise. Alioto called and the turn delivered the A. Alioto shoved all in and Crain called with 8843. Alioto held AK93 and after the river missed him Alioto was eliminated in sixth place. Crain held the chip lead after the hand thanks to the wheel he made on the turn and he now held 1 million. Brandon Adams – 550,000 Notable Eliminations: Annie Duke Big Hands: Razz Annie Duke Eliminated Annie Duke was responsible for the bring-in and Roman Yitzhaki raised. Duke called for her last 8,000 chips and she was at risk. Duke had a pair of sixes up and when Yitzhaki turned over a 7-6 low, she mucked her hand and made her way toward the exit. Johnson Disposes Of Dehkharghani Ray Dehkharghani bet 10,000 on fourth street and Marco Johnson made the call. Dehkharghani bet 20,000 on fifth street and Johnson made the call. Johnson then took the lead on sixth street with 20,000 and Dehkharghani made the call with the rest of his chips. Johnson ended up with an 8-7 low, good enough against Dehkharghani’s queen-low and he was eliminated. Stud Alioto Shown The Door Picking up the action on fifth street, Dario Alioto and Scott Fischman were involved in a hand that ended with the rest of Alioto’s chips in the middle. Here is how their boards ran out: Fischman: (777)8652 Fischman hit the slot machine with three sevens to best Alioto’s two pair and he was eliminated. Fischman was at 330,000. Omaha/8 Mosseri Lifts Some Off Glantz Michael Chow raised from the cutoff and both Matt Glantz and Abe Mosseri made the call from the blinds. The flop came down QJ7. Glantz led out with 10,000 and raised it up to 20,000. Chow got out of the way and Glantz made the call. Both players checked the 10 on the turn and the 9 fell on the river. Mosseri check-called 20,000 from Glantz. Mosseri then showed AQJ8 for a straight to the queen. Glantz mucked and was down to 235,000 while Mosseri was at 170,000. Hold’em Cyndy Violette Bursts Bubble, But Chops 24th Place Money Cyndy Violette moved all in under the gun against Roman Yitzhaki. Here were their cards: Violette: AQ It was the classic race and the board ran out 653106 and the ducks held on. Violette finally burst the bubble but Tommy Hang was eliminated on the same hand so the two split the 24th place money. Ferguson made the call and then led out for another 3,000 on fourth street. Mackey made the call and Ferguson bet 6,000 on fifth street. Mackey called again and both players checked sixth street. They did the same on seventh street and Mackey turned over 8-7-5-3-2. Ferguson mucked and Mackey took down the pot. Ferguson was down to 35,000 while Mackey was at 60,000. Forrest Cut Down Ted Forrest was all in on fourth street against Phil Galfond. By the time their boards ran out, Forrest wound up with two pair, nines and fours. That’s never a good thing in razz, especially when Galfond made a 9-8 low and Forrest made his way to the exit. Omaha/8 Alioto Gets Quartered On a flop of 1076, Magnus Persson, the player in seat 3 and Dario Alioto all put in three bets. The turn was the 9 and Persson bet 6,000. He was called by both opponents and the river was the 8. Persson bet again and was called again. Persson turned over A963 for the nut flush and it was good for the entire high pot. Alioto and seat 3 each showed the same low and split the low pot. Alioto was at 40,000 while Persson was up to 185,000. Wong called as did Raymond. The flop came AJ8 and the small blind led out. Wong and Raymond made the call and they saw the J fall on the turn. The small blind bet again, Wong called, and Raymond folded. The river was the 10 and both players checked. The small blind showed AKK4 and Wong mucked. Wong dropped to 45,000 in chips. Sabyl Landrum doubles up Sabyl Landrum raised under-the-gun and Dario Alioto three-bet from middle position. Landrum four-bet, Alioto five-bet, and Landrum called off the last of her chips. Landrum held AA104 and Alioto had the AKK2. The board ran out J10425 and Landrum doulbed up to 12,000. Mizrachi Still Running Good This Series On a flop of 69Q, Michael Mizrachi checked, there was a bet and Chris Ferguson called. Mizrachi check-raised to 2,400 and both opponents called. The turn was the 2 and Mizrachi bet and was called by both opponents. The river was the 10 and Mizrachi bet again, and was only called by on opponent and Ferguson folded. Tran took a session in the tank. After a long time thinking about it, Tran made the call. Lisandro then turned over 8-6-5-3-2. Tran stared at the hand for a bit just to make sure and then mucked his hand. Lisandro took the pot and was at 23,000 while Tran was getting short with just over 13,000. Elezra One-Ups Mueller Eli Elezra raised to 900 before the draw and Greg Mueller was the only caller. Elezra elected to draw one card and Mueller did the same. Elezra then counted out some chips and threw 2,700 into the middle. Mueller made the call and Elezra turned over 8-7-4-3-2. Mueller showed a 9-low and surrendered the pot to Elezra. Elezra was up around 50,000 while Mueller was at 35,000. Mizrachi’s Snow Melts Huck Seed started the action by raising to 900 before the draw. The player in seat 3 then reraised to 3,000. The action folded around to Michael Mizrachi who put in one more raise to 7,000. Seed mucked his hand and seat 3 made the call. Mizrachi stood pat on the draw and seat 3 did the same. Mizrachi then fired 12,000 into the pot and was called down by his opponent. Mizrachi tapped the table and turned over 22 to reveal his bluff. Seat 3 turned over 10-8-6-5-3 and took down the pot. Mizrachi was around 40,000 after the hand. Alioto Bets Out Smith In Battle Of The Blinds Dario Alioto raised to 1,000 from the small blind and Justin Smith made the call. Alioto then drew one card while Smith elected to take two. Alioto then bet 1,500 and Smith played around with his chips for a bit before mucking his hand. Alioto took the pot and was around 30,000 while Smith was at 23,500. D’Agostino Loses Big Chunk Of His Chips John D’Agostino raised to 1,050 before the draw. The player in seat 4 made the call and everyone else folded. D’Agostino took one card on the draw and his opponent did the same. D’Agostino then led out with 1,850 and seat 4 thought for a bit before raising to 10,000. D’Agostino only had 5,000 left and took a long session in the tank on whether he wanted to put himself at risk. Eventually, he decided to muck and keep his last 5,000 in chips for another hand. Rousso Bets Out Lisandro We picked up this hand on the draw. Jeffrey Lisandro drew one card and Vanessa Rousso elected to stand pat. Rousso then led out with 1,500 and Lisandro mucked his hand rather quickly. Rousso raked in the pot and was at 25,000. Lisandro was at 29,000 after the hand. No Draw Necessary For Schneider Tom Dwan opened the action by raising to 1,050 before the draw. The action folded to Yan Chen who put in a second raise to 3,150. The action was then on Tom Schneider who took a tank session. He then fired out 9,500 in chips. Action folded back around to Dwan who took his own session in the tank before mucking his hand. Chen was next to act and, after a tank session of his own, mucked his hand as well. Schneider took a nice pot before the draw and was around 40,000. Dwan was at 44,000 and Chen was at 24,000. Both players drew two cards, but before they received their cards Matusow showed Lind his hand. “You don’t have the best of it buddy,” Matusow said to Lind after Lind suggested he was ahead. Matusow said after the hand he showed Lind a 7-4-2. After the players received their cards, Lind led out with 325. Matusow immediately popped it to 2,000. Lind thought for a minute and then released his hand. Matusow then showed down the nuts, 7-5-4-3-2. “I tried to make it look like a bluff,” Matusow said. “Showed him my hand and everything.” Matusow took the pot but had none of his add-on chips left. Should Have Rapped Pat? Catching up with the action on the draw, Yan Chen decided to take one card. Tom Schneider was his opponent and also took one. Chen then smacked the table in frustration after he saw Schneider decide to draw. Schneider then bet 450 into the pot and Chen let his cards fly into the muck, surrendering the pot to Schneider. The Supreme Dario Dario Alioto raised to 350 and the player in seat 3 made the call. Dario Minieri then raised it to 1,925. Alioto tanked before deciding to push all in for 6,350 more. Minieri made the call and drew one card. Alioto stood pat and showed 8-7-5-3-2. Minieri paired up, showing 8-8-5-4-2 and Alioto doubled to 13,300 with his three add ons still intact. Minieri was down to around 4,000 with no add-on chips behind. A few hands later, Minieri raised to 850 and Alioto made it 3,000 to go. Minieri then pushed all in for the rest of his chips and Alioto called. Minieri stood pat after Alioto decided to draw one card. “What do I have to beat?” Alioto asked. Minieri turned over 10-9-5-3-2 while Alioto showed the four cards he kept, 8-7-5-2. Alioto then sweated his card and flipped over the 6 to make a better low and send Minieri to the rail early in the day. Left In The Deck: How Many Will There Be? Registration is set to close at the start of level three. The board reads 82 entrants and has been climbing. The players will have a 20-minute break after level two, during which registration will stay open. Last year’s total number was 96 so the final number could get very close or even surpass last year’s number by the time level three begins. Michael Mizrachi – 475,000 Notable Eliminations: Freddie Ellis Big Hands: Alexander Kostritsyn Doubles Through Brandon Adams, But Is Then Eliminated Kostritsyn was all in on third street against Brandon Adams. Here is how their boards ran out. Kostritsyn: (886)9A8-X Adams made two pair but Kostritsyn managed to get trip-eights and doubled up to 70,000. Adams, once the massive chip leader at almost 500,000, is down to 240,000. Unfortunately for Kostritsyn, he would not make it past the level as he was eliminated in 18th place, setting up hand-for-hand play. Evdakov Slams Heimiller Nikolay Evdakov took a huge pot off Dan Heimiller to move over 400,000 in chips. Evdakov had the 6 showing and turned over 66 for trips to take a chunk out of Heimiller’s stack. Heimiller was at 75,000 while Evdakov was at 415,000. Freddie Ellis Eliminated The defending champion hung in for a long time, but Brandon Adams delivered the knockout blow and abolished any idea of a repeat champion. Ellis: (JJ)101073 Ellis started off with the best of it but Adams hit trip-nines on fourth street and the 2 on the river gave him a full house to knock out the defending champion. Adams build his stack back up to 415,000 with the pot. Dario Alioto Bubbles The Money, Eliminated By Men The Master Dario Alioto nursed a short stack for almost two hours during hand-for-hand play. Finally, he played a pot for all of his chips. Alioto was responsible for the bring-in of 2,000 and Men Nguyen called. Alioto was showing a 2 while Nguyen showed 7. Nguyen received a 3 on fourth street whihle Alioto received the K. “You’ve got two options,” Nguyen said. “You check, I bet; or you bet I raise.” Alioto decided to bet and Nguyen was true to his word, raising enough to put Alioto all in. Nguyen turned over (A7) for split sevens while Alioto had nothing. Nguyen held the lead until the river when Alioto flipped over the K to pair his king. Nguyen then sweated his river card and finally turned over the 3 to make two pair and finally burst the money bubble. Men Nguyen – 290,000 Notable Eliminations: Scott Seiver Big Hands: Schmelev Knocks Out Seiver Vladimir Schmelev completed to 5,000 before Scott Seiver raised it to 10,000. Schmelev made the call and led out for 5,000 again on fourth street. Seiver made the call and then led out on 5th street with 10,000 showing KQ4. Schmelev made the call with his K76. It was then Schmelev’s turn to lead out for 10,000 when he caught the A on sixth street. Seiver got the 3 and called, putting himself all in. Schmelev turned over (75) for just a pair of sevens. The 3 did not improve his hand so Seiver needed to only beat the pair. He had turned over (85) for four spades. But the A on the river offered no help and he was out. Mizrachi’s Kings Best Alioto Picking up the action on seventh street, Michael Mizrachi was showing AK32 and bet 10,000. Dario Alioto took a session in the tank, showing J1072. He finally made the call and Mizrachi turned over K75 for just a pair of kings. It was enough, however, as Alioto threw his hand in the muck and dropped to 130,000. Mizrachi was up to 235,000. Daniel Negreanu Busts Daniel Negreanu was all in by fifth street with a board of (KK)3910. Brandon Adams called him down with a board of (J3)J4K. Negreanu was ahead with his kings and sixth street was harmless as he caught the 2 and Adams received the 10. But Adams caught the 10 on the river for two pair and Negreanu’s Q did not help him and he made his exit from the tournament. Eric Buchman – 270,000 Notable Eliminations: Todd Brunson Note: Players have gone on a 60-minute dinner break and will return at approximately 8:30 p.m. Big Hands: Nick Schulman Doesn’t Have Enough Heart, Eliminated By Buchman We caught up with this hand after Schulman was all in against Eric Buchman. Schulman’s hand started off well enough as he was showing 6543. He had straight flush possibilities but bricked on every street after that and he was eliminated. Buchman took the pot and was up to 270,000, making him the new chip leader of the tournament. Alioto Bests Negreanu We caught up with the action on fifth street. Dario Alioto bet 6,000 and Daniel Negreanu made the call. Both players checked sixth street and then Negreanu took a stab with 6,000 on seventh street. Alioto made the call and Negreanu turned over the Q to go with the Q he was showing. Alioto turned over his hole cards, revealing KK for the best hand and he took down the pot. Alioto was up to 74,500 while Negreanu slipped to 44,000. Dolly Takes A Ride On Heimiller’s Boat Eric Buchman, Doyle Brunson and Dan Heimiller were involved in a three-way pot. After a bet of 6,000 on fifth street, Brunson raised it up to 12,000. Both opponents made the call and Brunson led out with 6,000 on sixth street. Both players called again and were dealt their river cards. Heimiller then led out with 6,000 and Buchman mucked. Brunson looked up Heimiller and saw the bad news. Heimiller turned over (A42)22410 for a full house and Brunson mucked. Heimiller was at 77,000 while Brunson was at 84,000. Jennifer Harman Eliminated Jennifer Harman was all in on sixth street against Sirious Jamshidi. This is how their boards ran out: Harman: (KJK)J932 Harman improved to kings-up on the river but Jamshidi also improved with three queens and Harman was ousted from the tournament. Singer made the call and led out for 2,500 on fourth street. Pescatori made the call again and Singer checked on fifth street. Pescatori threw in 5,000 and Singer made the call, putting himself all in. Pescatori’s board ran out 10997(AKQ) for just a pair of nines. But Singer fared no better as his board ran out K1062(852) for a pair of deuces and he was eliminated. Pescatori was up to 101,000. Andy Black Takes A Pot We caught the action on fifth street as Dario Alioto bet 5,000 into the pot. Andy Black made the call showing A107. Sixth street brought the A for Black and he led out with 5,000. Alioto’s board was K832 when he threw it into the muck. Black took the pot and was at 70,000. Alioto slipped down to 65,000. Doyle Doesn’t Care For Clubs Doyle Brunson was in action against an opponent in seat 7. Seat 7 bet 5,000 after seventh street was dealt showing AKJ6. Brunson would not be intimidated, raising to 10,000. Seat 7 thought for a while and threw in the call. Brunson’s board was (633)6543. Brunson had roled up threes and improved to a full house, taking down a nice pot. He was at 132,000 after the hand. Habib Throws Bach Overboard David Bach bet 5,000 on sixth street and Hasan Habib made the call. Seventh street came around and Bach led out with 5,000. They will return at approximately 9:10 p.m. Big Hands: Omaha/8 Seidel Takes A Pot Isaac Haxton raised to 6,000 and Erik Seidel made the call from the big blind. Dan Kelly also made the call and the flop came down 973. Seidel led out with 3,000 and Kelly called. Haxton also tagged along and the turn was the K. Seidel bet 6,000 and Kelly raised to 12,000. Haxton got out of the way and Seidel repopped to 18,000. Kelly went into the tank for a few minutes before mucking his hand. Seidel took the pot and was at 215,000 while Kelly was down to 65,000. Brown Takes Pot Off Arieh Picking up the action on a flop of Q109, Chad Brown checked to Josh Arieh who bet 3,000. Brown made the call and the Q hit on the turn. Brown checked again and Arieh bet 6,000. Brown then check-raised to 12,000 and Arieh called. The river was the 7 and Brown led out with 6,000. Arieh called and Brown tabled KJA6 for a straight flush and took down a nice pot. He was at 145,000 after the hand while Arieh was at 135,000. Bach Gets None of Massive Pot David Bach won this event a year ago, but his odds of repeating aren’t looking so good. In one hand Bach raised to 6,000 and was called by seat 3, Chad Brown, Rafe Furst, and Josh Arieh. The flop came 872 and Bach fired 3,000 into the pot. Everyone called except Arieh. The 3 hit on the turn, and Bach bet 6,000. Seat 3 called, Brown raised to 12,000, Furst folded and Bach reraised to 18,000. Seat 3 called and Brown repopped it yet again to 24,000 and was called by both Bach and seat 3. The players checked down the 7 river card and showed their hands. Brown and Seat 3 split the pot of more than 100,000 and last year’s champion was left with just around 65,000. Chad Brown sits with around 165,000. Seven Card Stud Ferguson Takes Pot Chris Ferguson was showing 985 against Tuan Le’s J92 after fifth street. Ferguson bet 6,000 and Le mucked his hand rather quickly, surrendering the pot to Ferguson. Ferguson was at 130,000 after the hand while Le was at 127,000. Sorel Mizzi Beats Benyamine Sorel Mizzi and David Benyamine were locked up in a hand on fifth street. Both players checked sixth and seventh street and showed down their hands. Mizzi tabled (AJ3)Q896 while Benyamine showed (632)109AQ. Mizzi had A-Q-J high to edge out Benyamine and take the pot. He was at 200,000 while Benyamine was at 130,000. No Limit Hold’em_ Brunson Makes His Exits, Courtesy Of Aces A short-staked Todd Brunson hoped to make a quick double up in the no limit hold’em round but his K9 ran into the AA of Roman Yitzhaki and Brunson’s hand didn’t improve, sending him to the rail. Alioto Ousted Dario Alioto moved all in for his last 8,500. Eli Elezra called, as did Noah Boeken from the big blind. The flop came down Q44 and both players checked. The turn was the 3 and Boeken fired 12,000 into the pot. Elezra got out of the way and Boeken tabled 109 for a flush. Alioto showed cracked kings, KK. The river was the J and Alioto was eliminated. Boeken improved to 210,000. 2-7 Low Baker’s Jack Low Takes It Entering the action at the first draw, David Baker and Abe Mosseri both drew 1. Mosseri checked to Baker who bet 3,000. Mosseri called and both players drew 1 again. Baker fired out 6,000 and Mosseri called. David Oppenheim thought for a few moments before mucking his hand, dropping his stack to 244,000. On the next hand, Dan Kelly raised to 2,500 from the button preflop. Haxton made the call from the small blind and Matt Glantz followed suit from the big blind. The flop came down J42 and Haxton led out with 7,500. Glantz mucked quickly and Kelly tanked for a few moments before doing the same. Haxton took that pot and improved to 165,000 after starting with just under 150,000. Chen Falls in No Limit Hold’em Round Justin Smith check-called Bill Chen’s 25,000 on a board of KQ4. After checking the 4 on the turn, Chen moved all in and Smith insta-called, showing QQ for a full house. Chen showed AK and after the river didn’t improve his hand he was eliminated and Smith saw his stack grow to around 270,000. Negreanu Benefits in No Limit Hold’em Round Daniel Negreanu raises to 3,200 preflop and is called by Dario Alioto. Both players check a flop of A53. Alioto leads out for 6,500 on the Q turn and Negreanu raises him to 21,500 total. Alioto thinks long and hard before folding. Negreanu’s stack was around 95,000 following the hand. The Grinder Gets No Action From Mizzi After Michael Mizrachi and Sorel Mizzi invested 3,600 each into the pot preflop, the board came KJ6. Mizrachi led out with 5,000 and Mizzi mucked his hand. “What else could I have,” Mizrachi said as he turned over AA. He took down the pot and improved to 115,000 while Mizzi was at 200,000. The two would tangle again in a Pot-limit Omaha hand. Pot-Limit Omaha Mizrachi And Mizzi Go Again Michael Mizrachi bet 3,000 preflop and David Benyamine made the call. Sorel Mizzi then bet the pot for about 16,000 and both opponents made the call. The flop came down 10105. Mizrachi took the initiative and led out with 13,000. Benyamine mucked and Mizzi did the same after a few moments to think about it. Mizrachi took that pot and was around 135,000 after the hand.
Eli Elezra raised to 1,200 and was called by Daniel Negreanu, only to have the short-stacked Tam Hang move all in for his last 4,100. Elezra made a pot size raise to get Negreanu out and was heads up with a chance to knock Hang out of the tournament. Elezra showed AAK5 and was ahead of Hang’s KQ103. The board came out A9743, and Elezra took the pot, eliminating Hang and boosting his stack to around 215,000. The very next hand Elezra called Dario Alioto’s 4,000 raise from the button and the flop came KQ5. Elezra checked and Alioto bet 9,000. Elezra called and both players quickly checked both the 8 turn and the 3 river. Elezra showed AK92 for top pair to take the pot. He was hovering around 220,000 following the hand. Hastings And Fossilman Tangle Brian Hastings bet 13,000 after a flop of J77 landed on the felt. Greg Raymer thought about his options before deciding to muck his hand. Hastings took a small pot and was around 164,000 while Raymer was ailing with just over 30,000. Scotty Bets Forrest Out Scotty Nguyen raised the pot, 5,700, preflop. Action folded around to Ted Forrest in the big blind who decided to see a flop. It came down 762 and Forrest checked. Nguyen kept his foot on the gas pedal as he bet 5,000. Forrest had enough and mucked his hand. Nguyen started with 210,000 and improved to 220,000 while Forrest dropped from 145,000 to 137,000. Flop Kills Action Picking up the action after the flop, the board read QJ3. Four players each put in about 5,000 preflop and Josh Arieh, David Bach, Chad Brown and Daniel Alaei all checked their option. The turn was the 8 and they all checked again. The river was the A and the passive play continued. Bach turned over 7653 for a flush and it was good enough to take down the pot. He was at 110,000 after the hand. 2-7 Triple Draw Alioto Low Bridges Negreanu We caught up with this hand on the second draw. Abe Mosseri folded his hand and Dario Alioto drew one card. Daniel Negreanu stood pat and led out before the final draw. Alioto made the call and drew one card. He then led out with a bet, much to the displeasure of Negreanu who made the call. Alioto turned over 8-5-4-3-2 for the 8-perfect and Negreanu could only wave his arms in disgust as he showed 8-7-5-3-2. He was down to just 70,000 after the hand while Alioto was at 60,000. Limit Hold’em Huck Flushes Elezra’s Trips Huck Seed raised to 5,000 preflop and Eli Elezra called from the big blind. Elezra checked a flop of K43 and Seed fired 2,500 into the pot. Elezra called and the K fell on the turn. After checking to Seed’s 5,000 bet, Elezra raised it to 10,000. Seed called and Elezra checked the 5 river. Seed bet 5,000 and was called, only to show AA for the nut flush, while Elezra held losing trips, AK. The pot put Seed around 230,000 in chips and Elezra dropped to around 175,000. Giang Flushes South Picking up the hand after the river, the board ran out Q9877 and Giang made a bet. Cole South made the call and Giang showed A5 for the nut flush. South mucked his hand and was down to 180,000 while Giang was up to 225,000. Turner then check-raised Alioto on sixth street, which forced Alioto to make an all-in call. Their cards: Turner: (77)6552 Alioto picked up the J and he was eliminated on the hand in eighth place, courtesy of the trip nines of Turner. Layne Flack Eliminated in Seventh Place ($30,674) Stud Layne Flack got the last of his chips in on fifth street and Eric Crain made the call. Their cards: Flack: (87)8K5 Flack picked up 78 to make eights up, but Crain received 4Q to make nines up. Flack was eliminated in seventh place. Alioto went all-in and Perry made the call. Alioto exposed the QQ109 for the nut straight and a flush draw. However, Perry tabled one of the ugliest hands Alioto could have seen with the KJ109, for the same nut straight, but with a higher flush draw and outs to make a higher straight. The 10 hit the turn and Perry hit a higher straight and put Aliotto on the brink. The 7 fell on the river and Alioto was eliminated. Perry is up to 265,000 in chips. Hoyt Corkins Eliminated The short stack of Hoyt Corkins got all his chips into the middle with the AAKJ against Jeff Lisandro. Lisandro tabled the AJ99 and was a significant underdog. The board ran out 88259, as Lisandro hit his two outer on the river to make nines full and eliminate Corkins just short of the money. Lisandro is up to 81,000. Marcel Luske Elimianted On a board of 94210, Marcel Luske went all-in for just 10,000 and was called by Cliff Josephy. Josephy exposed QQ42 for two pair and a flush draw. Lusked tabled the KJ74 for 19 outs to double up to a modest stack. None of the draws for a flush, a straight or a higher two pair came for Luske and he was eliminated. Left In The Deck: For the first time in the tournament, action has slowed down considerably. The players are only 4 spots away from the money.
