Boom Boom Boom, Barch Wins!Jun 12, '10 Medic Falls in 4th Place $74,946) Nenad Medic entered the final table as a near 3-1 chip leader over his opponents. Unfortunately for him, things did not go his way today as he gradually lost chips and was ultimately eliminated in 4th place. Medic raised to 140,000, putting nearly half of his chips in the pot in the process. Tex Barch re-raised the pot, and Medic called all in. Barch: AQ76 The flop came KJJ, giving Medic straight draws, but the board finished K and J, not helping the former chip leader and eliminating him in 4th place. He took $74,946 for performance. Dang Hanged in 3rd Place ($102,306) One hand after Medic busted Trai Dang found himself all in, also against Barch. On a flop of Qc4sJh Barch bet 250,000 and Dang moved all in. He was called and saw that he was in trouble. Barch: AKK3 The turn was the 6 and the river was no help either, sending dang out in 3rd place with $102,306. This hand left a huge mountain in front of Klinghammer Thibaut. Barch held 3.5 million of the chips, compared to Thibaut’s 410,000. Tex Wins Omaha! Thibaut Finishes Runner-Up ($158,698) After hours of no eliminations, it took three hands for the final three eliminations to take place and the winner to be crowned. In a limped pot the flop came JA7 and Tex Barch fired out 60,000. Klinghammer Thibaut called and the turn brought the 10. Barch put Thibaut all in for his last 200,000 or so and was called. Their hands: Barch: J872 Barch held two pair and a straight draw while Thibaut showed a smaller two pair and straight draw. The river was the Q and Barch’s hand held, eliminating Thibaut in second place. Thibaut won $158,698 for his runner-up finish. Barch finished 3rd in the WSOP Main Event back in 2005, winning $2.5 million. With tonight’s win he collected the second largest tournament prize of his career, $256,919 and collected his very own WSOP bracelet. Player Tags: John Barch, Nenad Medic, Klinghammer Thibaut Four Eliminations So FarJun 12, '10 When the final table began Nenad Medic sat with a near 3-1 chip lead over the next nearest player, Tex Barch. Medic quietly remained the chip leader as the first four victims were eliminated from the final table. Denton Pfister First To Go, Finishes in 9th Place ($19,259) John “Tex” Barch raised to 40,000 and Denton Pfister re-popped it to 120,000. Barch called and the flop came 62A. With Pfister holding just 37,000 behind, he went all in and Barch made the call. Pfister: QQ106 Barch already had the lead with two pair and the K turn gave him an event stronger two pair. The K river changed nothing and Pfister was the first elimination of the day, winning $19,259. Patterson Out in 8th Place ($24,695) Several raises back and forth between Tyler Patterson and Blair Rodman left Patterson all in preflop. Their hands: Rodman: AA85 Patterson’s hand was never ahead on a board that ran 8103A9. Patterson was out in 9th place, taking $24,695. Rodman Booted By Thibaut in 7th Place ($32,007) Blair Rodman made it 26,000 to go and Klinghammer Thibaut made the call from the big blind. On a flop of 964 Thibaut checked to Rodman who bet 55,000, only to have Thibaut check-raise him all in on a pot-sized bet 223,000. Rodman called and they showed their hands. Rodman: 9875 Both players were heavily drawing, but the A turn put Thibaut ahead and the K made it official — Rodman was eliminated in 7th place, winning $32,007 in prize money. Thibaut had around 790,000 in chips after the hand. Chang Knocked Out in 6th Place ($41,971) A short-stacked Chris Hyong Chang raised to 42,000 pre-flop and called off the rest of his chips when Tex Barch re-raised to 150,000. Their hands: Barch: AAK10 The board ran 10462Q and Chang was gone in 6th, earning $41,971 for his efforts. Player Tags: Blair Rodman, John Barch, Nenad Medic, Klinghammer Thibaut |

Amir Lehavot — 610,000 Card Player Chip Counts: Jeff Shulman – 220,000 Notable Eliminations: Marlon Wayans Big Hands: Marlon Wayans Eliminated; Gets One-Outed Marlon Wayans gets it all in before the flop and is called in one spot. Wayans has pocket kings, his opponent has pocket queens. The flop comes rags with two hearts. The turn is the A, and because Wayans holds the K, he only has one card to fade to double up and stay alive. The river is the Q, and unbelievably, his opponent gets there. Marlon Wayans is eliminated from the main event. Alex Kamberis Eliminated Alex Kamberis gets it all in before the flop and gets called by Leo Kam. Kamberis: K10 Board: Q107A5 Kamberis was dominated before the flop but managed to pair up his live card. The turn and river failed to help, and Alex Kamberis is eliminated from the tournament. Cyndy Violette Eliminated Cyndy Violette got all of her money in on the flop with two pair (queens and nines) against her opponent’s pocket kings. Her opponent spiked a third king on the turn, sending Violette home early in the last level of the night. Kevin Saul Flops a Monster, Almost Doubles Up A player at the table comes in for a raise and gets two callers Kevin Saul (button) and the big blind. The flop comes A75, and the original raiser shoves for 116,700. Saul has him covered by 8,000, and tanks for several minutes before making the call. Saul shows J3 for the made flush while his opponent turns over QQ for a pair, no draw. The turn and river are the 6 and the 2, no help for pocket queens as Saul nearly doubles up to just under 250,000 in chips. Nenad Medic Eliminated Nenad Medic got it all in for 7,000 on a flop of J84, and got called in two spots. The turn was the 10, the big blind moves all in for the side pot and is called by the third opponent. Medic: 92 Medic turns an open-ended straight draw (minus two outs) and is up against two pair, a better flush draw and the nut gutshot. The river is the K and Nenad Medic hits the rail. Noah Boeken Gets Doubled Through The UTG player open-shoves with the short stack and Noah Boeken looks him up. Boeken: A10 Board: Q6697 Boeken gets a good flop, but his opponent pairs on the turn, and doubles through Boeken at the end of the night. Boeken is left with just over 150,000 after this hand. Eastgate Makes A Strong Late-Night Run Peter Eastgate was down to just 8 big blinds at one point this level, and now sits in six-figure territory thanks to a late-night fun for the defending champion. Peter Eastgate gets it all in with 65 on a board of 10526 and is called by J10. The 6 hits the river and Eastgate doubles up here with a full house. A few hands later and Eastgate covers an all in player with AK against his opponent’s KQ. The board comes A5368, giving Eastgate top pair on the flop and a flush on the turn. Eastgate is up now to 100,000 in chips after this late-night run. Vivek Rajkumar Eliminated; Aces Cracked On a flop of J82, Vivek Rajkumar moves all in and gets one caller. Rajkumar: AA Rajkumar is out-flopped and will need some help to stay alive. The turn (7) and river (Q) offer no help to Rajkumar who is eliminated in the final minutes of the night. His opponent then turned over K5 from his hand, but Howard turned over K6AQ, good for a better two pair and the pot. Left In The Deck: Players are now going on a one hour dinner break.
