All Inbox with Tom Dwan

In Card Player TV’s show All Inbox, fans can get advice from the world’s most successful poker pros by sending their questions to [email protected]. In this edition, Tom “Durrrr” Dwan answered questions regarding his high-stakes exploits.

Matt F. from the Bay Area: What do you think of Isildur1 as a no-limit hold’em player? And as a pot-limit Omaha [PLO] player?

Tom Dwan: One thing that is certain is that he definitely has gotten a lot better very quickly, at both games. Obviously, he was better at no-limit to start, but he has improved drastically at PLO. I look forward to hopefully playing him in the future. So far, he has done pretty well against me, but I have been able to get a little of that money back lately. Hopefully that will continue if I play him more, but we will see.

Caesar from Houston, Texas: How much money is enough? How much would you need to win in order not to play cash games ever again?

TD: There is not really an amount that would make me choose never to play cash games again, but if someone offered me some very large number … If someone offered me $100 million, I would definitely take it and never play poker again. If I won $100 million, though, I’d probably still play occasionally. I wouldn’t be there grinding as much as I am now, but I’m sure that I’d still be playing once a week for an hour or two just for amusement. Spade Suit
