The 2024 Wynn Summer Classic poker series is scheduled to host 98 tournaments between May 22 and July 17 at Wynn Las Vegas, with more than $37 million in prize money to be paid out along the way.

The centerpiece of the whole affair will be the $10,000,000 guaranteed $10,400 buy-in no-limit hold’em Summer Championship running June 28 through July 3. The tournament features three starting flights (June 28-30) and then three more days of action to play down to a winner.

This year’s schedule also includes a high-stakes trio of events dubbed the WPT Alpha8 Trifecta. The three $25,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em high rollers are all two-day events, with kickoff dates of June 25, July 3, and July 10. In 2023, these three tournaments all saw seven-figure top payouts awarded to stars of the game like Jonathan Jaffe ($1,537,600), Ren Lin ($1,045,781), and Steve O’Dwyer ($1,009,520).

“We are honored to include the WPT Alpha8 Trifecta as a part of our Wynn Summer Classic,” said Executive Director of Poker Operations at Wynn Las Vegas Ryan Beauregard. “The Alpha8 moniker has an impressive history of past champions, and I look forward to treating each and every player to the full Wynn player experience.”

Buy-ins range from $500 through $25,000, with a variety of games and formats to choose from. There are another eight multi-flight events in addition to the Summer Championship. Other notable offerings include a mystery bounty, the ‘Century’ no-limit hold’em progressive knockout, several mixed game events, a seniors event, and a ladies event.
