WSOP Academy Offers a Full Slate of Events at Rio

Free Seminars will also be offered on Weekends at the Bad Beat Bar & Lounge

Annie DukeThe World Series of Poker Academy will be offering a collection of events this summer at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. There are currently three on the schedule, including a ladies-only event hosted by Annie Duke (pictured left), and a Mind & Body Academy that will be hosted by Sam Chauhan and Joe Navarro. The Main Event Primer will be back as well, running on July 2-3 to prepare players for the main event.

Other players scheduled to appear include Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth, Greg Raymer, Mark Seif, Bernard Lee, Mark Gregorich, and Mike Caro.

Here is a look at the full schedule of WSOP Academy events:

Ladies Only Live-Hand Analysis Academy — taught by Annie Duke: Annie will provide players with personal, hands-on training in small groups (June 10).

All-New 2 Day Advanced Main Event Primer — revamped for 2010 the Main Event Primer is the best way to prepare for the biggest poker tournament in the world (July 2-3).

Mind & Body Academy – new for the WSOP 2010 – players will learn techniques to develop a winning mindset while Joe Navarro will help them hone their abilities to read their opponents at the table (July 4).

In addition to the events mentioned above, each Saturday and Sunday during the WSOP, the Academy will be hosting free seminars and prize giveaways in the Bad Beat Bar & Lounge. Players can also stop by the Academy’s educational stage in the Brasilia Room daily during the WSOP.
