The event, a $220 buy-in poker tournament with $100 rebuys, will welcome several celebrities and poker pros who are in town on account of the World Series of Poker. According to a press release from the event, there will also be a $10,000 grand prize.

“We are very happy to be partnering with the Golden Nugget, its Grand Poker Series and many of Las Vegas’ finest poker pros and celebrities to host this very special and important charity event,” said Karina Jett, a pro poker player who speaks on behalf of the non-profit organization. “All monies raised will go to increasing awareness of the limited services for autism in Las Vegas.”

Autism, which often affects communication, behavior, and societal tendencies, affects 1 in 150 children.

Kristy Gazes, Lee Watkinson, and Adam Schoenfeld are amongst the many poker pros expected to attend the event.

The tournament will also welcome Julianna Erdesz (Miss Nevada USA) and Dan Henderson (UFC fighter).
