WSOP Academy Heading to Los Angeles

Weekend Seminar Takes Place in September

The World Series of Poker Academy is heading to Los Angeles for the first time in September to conduct an intense weekend poker camp at the Bicycle Casino.

Instructors for this edition include Annie Duke, Kenny Tran, poker tells expert and former G-man Joe Navarro, noted poker professional and instructor Alex Outhred, and others. The cost is $1,499, and spots are still available for the Sept. 6-7 seminar.

The WSOP Academy Los Angeles event will provide participants with in-depth seminars, live hand demonstrations, interactive workshops, and customized handbooks while covering all aspects of no-limit Texas hold'em strategy, from playing position and calculating pot odds to the importance of aggression and changing gears.

At the end of the weekend, players will play a tournament for a $5,000 seat into a WSOP Circuit event of the winner’s choice, among other prizes.
